Nelson's Tea has these beautiful dark blue-purple berries of the elder tree, also known as a black elder and European elder, which are widely used in Northern Europe to make soups, jams, and jellies.

The berries are also used to make a variety of alcoholic beverages, including a juniper-flavored gin called Beers Vlierke.
