Brownie's Fate by Rachael Afra

Brownie's Fate by Rachael Afra

It's funny how one fortunate accident can make history! We loved the Brownie when we first tried it, and some make this baked goodie their favorite. It's believed a baker, who didn't have any yeast, created the Brownie. By leaving it out, it became an all-out head-turner.

Do you love your Brownie more cake-like or gooey and soft? I'm a big fan of cake-like Brownies, but I have yet to cross into making them like panettone. Hey, a chocolate-flavored panettone sounds like a fun challenge, right? Rising cakes made with yeast were my dad's favorite, not just panettone but fruit cake. I wasn't big on fruit cake of any kind as a kid. It tasted weird, with spirits soaked into it. Then again, to a kid, it wasn't pleasant.

There are many toppings to add to Brownies, like chocolate feves, nuts, sprinkles, frosting, candy, and so much more. Do you have a favorite Brownie recipe? Do you like them just plain? With candy? Frosting? Please share. I would love to know from a Brownie lover.
